Collected from across the globe by an alumnus , the pictures are a graphic and moving account of the evolution of a glorious institution which merged seamlessly with the cultural awakening of modern Bengal or the so called Bengali renaissance. The Company Medical School by Vendis is available to be bought at an auction from Christie's. Note that the headers in this site highlight the different faces of the flagship building of the Calcutta Medical College as it evolved from 1852. You are welcome to contribute to this page by sending us photos from other historical archives.
